A very friendly environment that really cares about the animals they have up for adoption. I went in on numerous occasions and was greeted happily and treated with respect. I ended up adopting Tom, a 21lb cat and couldn't be happier. Definitely would recommend them!

Staff was super friendly and efficient. Fee structure is very affordable. Will definately refer friends and family to this facility in the future!

THE SPCA... A place created to HELP ANIMALS and PEOPLE! THE SPCA... A place created from DONATIONS! DONATIONS from people who CARED ABOUT TAKING CARE OF ANIMALS and not the paycheck of those who chose to work there..! SPCA...Created by CARING PEOPLE and DONATIONS! And due to my last experience with someone at this facility. This is something I beleive they need to be reminded of!!!

I found a dog at my apartment complex. I sent her to the SPCA so her owner can find her. I appreciate how helpful the staff are. You can tell they love amimals. By the way. The facility is clean, and looks great. Please check them out if you're interested in adopting a pet.

Nice welcome staff, clean and neat dog lens the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I wasn't able to find my forever buddy

We found two little kitties in a box on the side of the road and brought them home. I called SPCA about neutering them and getting shots and nails trimmed. They took us in the following week. That place is run like a well oiled machine. The girls were very kind. It cost us 222 for both. We are very happy and now have two very nice pets.

Hi I gave 3 stars because I really do enjoy these people. Their help has helped my anxiety and comforted my kitty. I adopted from petsmart through the spca back in November and I brought her home and that same night her eyes were inflamed and nose was runny. I thought huh, those people didn't tell me anything was wrong with her. I took her to brandywine acouple days after for a 14-day voucher where they diagnosed her feline herpes virus/conjunctivitis. They were a big help and soothed her with a vaccine and gave me l-lysine chews. Well I brought her back for a checkup about a week or two after where her eyes were still cloudy and they told me she was fine. I just recently took her to get her ear mites figured out, her names Moxie :) but...still no one said a thing about her eyes. Everyday I wonder and google what could be wrong, and I'm sure almost positive she has cornea ulcers. Her eyes have increased in a good way but yet worse and she doesn't like the chews they gave me and I can't afford to take her just to be told she's okay. I know she's not you can clearly see her eyes are effected and I don't want her vision to be impaired. I cant take her to the vet because I cannot afford it. I'm at loss as to what to do for my poor kitty. You guys are great but how could you not see she has big cloudy patches on both of her eyes? )): I wish I could understand. Anyways thanks brandywine. You guys are good, but I need just a little more effort, especially since she came from your guys shelter (georgetown) but I drive the extra miles to dover because the people there are far more comforting and nice. But soon enough her eyes will be damaged to the max and I want to avoid that at all costs.
