If you want to eat reheated prepared frozen food then this is your place. I normally don’t write reviews, but this place was terrible. I ordered the Fajitas Del Mar and the scallops had a tough rubber texture and the side fixings were so basic. Also the beans came from a can and was average at best. It couldn’t hurt if they added spices to it. Really confused about these 5 star reviews. I know we’re in New England but the food here is hardly edible.

Truly excellent food. Great people. The best Mexican restaurant in Dover and surrounding areas. The San Jose burrito is a favorite but they have many authentic, delicious meals. Good brew selection too. Salsa is home made and very good. Fresh guacamole made at table is even better.
A little on the smaller side for portions but definitely enough and a good value. The food is, in my opinion, excellent, I highly recommend the queso fundido. Giving 4 stars becausey boyfriend's enchiladas both times ordered were small and lacking in taste. Customer service is great here as the staff is very welcoming and they are taking several measures to help limit COVID risk. Best mexican eats in the area!
Driving through Durham we stumbled upon Cinco de Mayo. Overall we found the service adequate and the prices in line with other places we have dined. The food was good but one item on the menu really stood out. If you go there I would highly recommend trying the Chipotle Burrito. It is a mouthful of flavor that is a bit unique. The sauce over the burrito has just enough spice to make it interesting without being overpowering and the bits of pineapple add just a bit of sweetness. It made me want to go back!
Will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. The owner and all of the staff working here are awesome and the atmosphere is laid back and you feel welcome here. The food is really good. Salsa is yummy (and chips), I tried the street tacos, had the chicken and the carne asada. Both had a really good seasoning on them, tortillas were soft and it came with some green and red sauce to put on if you wish. They let me try their own homemade hot sauce which I will be putting on my tacos the next time I'm here. It had really good flavor and a little kick to it as well! I had the fresh squeezed margarita, regular, mango and mango strawberry (don't judge I love my tequila). Really, really good. If you want fresh real Mexican food I suggest you come here.
