Our aunt was in the Memory Care Unit at Providence Place and we can't say enough nice things about the entire staff. They took very good care of our aunt and loved her like family. They always made time to answer our questions and address our concerns. The facility, as well as her room, was always clean and well kept. We highly recommend Providence Place.

Please make sure you know the FACTS of the care before deciding on this place. My 100, yes , year old aunt has lived in assisted living here.....until, unfortunately she fell and was summarily checked before they stood her up only to realize after the bone went through her skin that she had an ankle fracture. Now, her rehab will not keep her ( well yes they will if she pays 350/day ) she must leave Friday and yes, we just found out today! Providence Place will not take her back. Now, we are approaching the holidays and we all know how hard it will be to get anything accomplished. We are willing to pay for additional services until a more permanent solution can be found, but were told this is not possible....did I mention it’s almost Christmas? This is why there is so little confidence in health care. No compassion...it’s a business, yep understand! All I suggest to anyone considering this place, is that you try to figure all the scenarios that could happen and make sure that you get a definitive answer for each and every one. In our case, we were told she could live the rest of her life here! They forgot to mention their terms of “living”.

Poor communication with people in charge...staff is over worked...not a place i wanted my parents for their final days...

Clean environment, friendly staff but somewhat expensive ( and confusing billings). After moving my parents into the facility there was a rate increase of 4% and now I'm scared these may be annual or worse. This very topic was discussed when visiting but we were assured they were small and seldom occur. Also they use an exclusive pharmacy which is also somewhat pricey. If money is of little concern I would recommended this facility. ok, updating this 12 months later. The rate for the room is now 189 per day, yes another rate increase. The rate does include some medical assistance but no laundry services and such. That's two rate increases in their 17 months there. update 12 month after last update. A lot of maintenance has been done on the facility, still well kept. Seems like there has been a staff turnover and the theft has stopped. I have to compliment the medical staff and their ability to work with everybody involved. Unfortunately the annual rate increase means that my folks room is now 194.96 per day.
