Great atmosphere, very good and fast service with plenty of staff about. Decent menu to choose from and food was delicious. Simple but done very well.

5 star food and 5 star service. If you are in the area, make sure you go to the Barn, I have had the pleasure of trying both the lunch and evening menu and there is plenty of variety for every palate and the food is exquisite. My 6 year old asked where her fish Goujons came from and like all the other meat and fish on the menu, it is locally sourced and is so fresh as a result. Try the fish chowder on both lunch and evening menus, you can really tell, if you aren't a seafood person the chili chicken is something else! The fantastic food is complimented by fantastic service, on a busy night,our waitress (Anna) was always available and happy to help with a smile, my drink never got to the bottom of the glass before being offered another. which shows Anna was paying attention to the table too. Looking forward to catching up with Stephen, Anna and the team again on our next visit!
Lovely country pub with great food offerings! Friendly staff and well spaced for covid 19 compliance. It is a bit out of the way if you're not local, but worth it!
