For years, Buddhism is known for peace, art, and harmony. Visit Dragon Palace situated in Kamptee (Half an hour drive from Nagpur),and you will find all these three elements here. Some also call it Lotus Temple. A Japanese Charitable Trust by the name of Ogawa Society built this temple in 1999. It is basically a Buddhist Temple built using white marble and having Sandalwood Idol of Lord Buddha. The place is well known for Buddhist education and meditation. Additionally it also serves as a landmark Indo-Japanese friendship. If possible visit during meditation or prayer hours to experience how the enchanting echo of all the instruments relaxes your sole. The lush green gardens, soft sprawling lawns and breathtaking water fountain will force you to visit again and again. The temple has ample parking space. Just that, there are not any eateries or snack stalls nearby, you will find a host of stalls selling fancy items and idols you can use for home decoration.

Another peaceful gem in Nagpur This was the 1st place I visited in Nagpur and it was so clean and well maintained. When I visited there was some maintenance work going on, also there were helpers to keep it clean. The palace temple has a beautiful garden area where people can sit and click pictures. The helpers suggest in maintaining silence since it is a holy place
