No nonsense course and golf club. Great views over the Rhine Valley and France. Nicest beer around at the club house!

The prices are low but the place was quite dried. Do not eat a Pizza at the golfrestaurant if you are used to original italian Pizza. You would be disappointed. All other food was good.

For 2 euros I get 50 golf balls. Everyone was friendly. A nice clean place and no stress.

Played both Kellenberg and Quellenhof during hot & dry August 2020. 15 HCP. Qhof is the better of the two for me: better layout and fairer golf test; more scenic; more break on greens; wider landing areas off the tees and less penal for misses; and, well protected greens needing an approach strategy. Nice flow from each green to next tee boxes. Sadly, being very hot and dry the bunkers were hard pans (and some had different sand types?!) and the green keepers were fire hosing the greens with water during our mid morning round which affected roll. (Just my luck!) Kberg was very dry and the fairways were suffering and were really bumpy where divots aren’t growing back. The par 3, 7th has no bail out which made it impossible for my partner who’s a beginner and can’t carry 120 over a (dry) lake. The greens were ok / good. It’s more hilly than Qhof so club selection is harder. Qhof is an average golf course but nevertheless good fun to play. Kberg was below average (when I played it anyway). Pro shop and management could be friendlier to really improve the experience. No free birdie book or tees given to me.
