the woman there needs to have 20 stars for being alone and putting up with folks who dont have all they paper work in order. come prepared stop waisting her time . very nice friendly lady to me and i got my star id without any problem also had to take a road test over at age 52. no problems with her she made me feel comfortable while taking the road test in over 30 years i had to take it over. stop criizing and learn to have respect for others. i give her 20 stars for the extra nice service I recieved. poor lady working alone. be considerate and ask her how her day going like i did. sometime people need to hear nice things. good job keep up the good work and ignore all these haters next time go somewhere else and leave this woman alone.

Have never had any problems just get here early and have all paperwork prepared!
I took my son here to get his driver's permit today. For a small office with only one person doing written tests, road tests, star id's, transfer and so on, serving a large area from Blount to Jefferson county, the lady was very helpful, thorough, extremely nice and showed compassion to my son who was nervous. My recommendation is to be early, be very patient and have all your proper paperwork in order.
