We approached East Down Building to get some advice on undertaking a roof conversion, after reading a lot of conflicting views on the feasibility of conversion in a house with a truss roof. Kenny came to look at the house, talked us through what would be involved, and even put us in contact with a local architect to do the design work. Their quote for the work was competitive, and the work was completed to an excellent standard and in good time. The builders were professional, courteous and punctual, with the house left tidy at the end of every shift. We could not have wished for a better contractor, and are exceptionally pleased with the result. We would happily recommend East Down Building and Joinery to anyone.

I would highly recommend Kenny and East Down Building. We had several architects and builders look at building a sunroom on our house, but none were able to do what we wanted within our budget. Kenny was very realistic about what he could do within the budget, and remained within this throughout the entire job. Kenny introduced us to an architect who was able to draw plans for what we required and deal with the planning and building control aspects. Kenny dealt competently with all the sub contractors on the job, and was a very pleasant builder to work with. We are extremely pleased with the results.

We were looking for a building contractor to carry out a Roofspace conversion with a staircase and a dormer window and to put an ensuite onto our bedroom, 2 people independently of each other recommended East Down Joinery to us and we were very impressed with the professionalism of Kenny and his team, the work was carried out to a very high standard, he was very well organised with sub contractors too, who were brought in for plastering , plumbing and electricals as they were needed on site. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of each working day and the very few snags that there were when the job was complete, were dealt with and fixed straight away .
