A coastal fort (one of two) guarding an entrance to Karlskrona. It sits on one of the islands coming into port. Nice and quiet place. There is a free ferry from Karlskrona (near the naval museum) to the island. The ferry ride is about 20-30 min. Once off the ferry there is about 1 km walk to the fort through very picturesque single home neighborhood . Nice quiet and relaxing walk. The fort entrance is free of charge and there is a small restaurant inside. Old cannons outside one the walls. Nice view of the strait. Rarely anyone else there in the off season.
Amazing castle
Väldigt fint ställe och väldigt roligt om man gillar historia. Och dom har en restaurang där inne också
Spännande historia. Värt ett besök.
Superhäftigt, måste ses. Hade önskat mer info, samt på engelska. En liten kiosk/ kafé hade varit trevligt där. Verkligen välbevarat/upprustat
Står på Google att det är öppet till 18. Besökare har åkt 20 mil för att besöka Kastellet. MYCKET DÅLIGT
