This review is actually long overdue. In the summer, we decided to go on a trip to Drumheller with our two year old for the day to see some dinosaurs. It ended up being exceptionally hot outside that day, and of course, it was still covid time so we didn't want to hang out indoors. We went to a Mcdonald's when we arrived to get some ice cream and while standing at our car, a man walking by told us our front tire was flat. He then proceeded to tell us that Canadian Tire would likely be overpriced, but that Fountain Tire had a truck who could likely come by if we gave them a call. I called and the lady on the phone could hear our two year old fussing in the background. She said she would try and get someone over to us right away, and she did. A man and his truck came in under five five minutes, and assessed the situation. We then followed him to the shop (which was very close by). When we arrived, the lady came out to greet us and tried making my daughter laugh. She told us it would be quick and the price was way lower than we thought it would be. Due to covid, we ended up going for a brief walk outside in the RV ground next door as something to do and found out it had a playground. This sounds weird, but we were honestly treated with so much kindness that day that we felt more glad that the tire broke down than if we had just gone immediately to our regular plans (even the Mcdonald's manager came out at one point when in their parking lot to give my daughter a free ice cream, as I don't think they realized we were sharing one). At no point did we feel stranded, desperate, worried or all the other emotions we could have felt when a tire goes flat out in a town you are unfamiliar with away from your home on a super hot day in the middle of a pandemic with a toddler. Instead, we felt assured that we would be taken care of and in good hands. We are very grateful for how that day turned out, and we have nothing but good things to say about the people in Drumheller.

I arrived at Fountain Tire on Saturday about 12:55 pm (not realizing they closed at 1:00 pm until I saw the time on the door). The very nice gentleman at the desk asked me how he can help me. I told him that I didn't realize he was closing. He asked me what was the problem. I told him that someone pointed out to me that both my break lights were not working and since I had to drive to Calgary, I was concerned. He asked me to pull my car up to the door and he went to the back of my car and within a few minutes he replaced the bulbs! He stayed past closing to help me! Wow! I've never had this kind of service in the big city. Thank you Fountain Tire Drumheller!!!
