I love this place! Beautiful walking trail connecting drumheller and the museum. There are outhouses but i believe they are locked during off sesson, same as the park. You can park on the road though, but when its open, there is some parking inside. There is also picnic tables.

Nice little place to stop for a picnic on the way to Tyrell museum. Lots of families there and it was only a Thursday. There are various picnic benches and also outhouse type washrooms (had hand sanitizer but no running water). There are walking paths. We didn't go very far but did see some nice cacti. Saw lots of people strolling and some on bikes as well.

Would be a nice place for a lunch and a walk. Gates are locked and there's no parking allowed so.... Outhouse was pretty bad, I'm glad I didn't need to sit down to go.

Very nice hidden gem in town! I hung out here while waiting for the parking lot at Midland to clear out for the evening. The trail to the west offered up some very nice scenery. As it was a very hot afternoon, I did not traverse very far on this one, but did manage to take some spectacular photographs. Though not as aesthetically interesting, the trail to the south was wonderful as well; it offered up much appreciated shade from the hot July sun, and I was able to find the occasional fruit bearing saskatoon bush, which was my favorite thing about the area. The outhouse was clean and odor free. Some of the picnic tables were in the shade. Be careful where you step as the ground squirrels have made several holes, not all of which are easily visible. It was disappointing to see that someone had not cleaned up after their dog, perhaps a dispenser of bags for dog waste would help with this? Honestly, you could spend a whole day just in this park.

Great little area for a picnic or light hike. There are trails here that would be great for someone just wanting an easy walk. I'd recommend getting there early as it can get busy.
