Chandi is a brilliant teacher who is passionate and has given me the confidence to excel in drumming. As someone who is hard of hearing he was able to explain clearly for me to understand. Highly recommend for those seeking to learn drumming!

I have a music degree but I was pretty much a beginner drummer when I started lessons with Chandi at Drumstruck around 2 years ago. Thanks to him I already feel like I can call myself an intermediate drummer. He is a kind, generous and passionate teacher and loves to share his wide knowledge of the subject with others. My 8-year-old son also attends weekly lessons with Chandi after school and he is finding real confidence behind the kit now too. I'm proud of how both my son and I have improved over the past 18 months and much of this is down to our lessons with Chandi at Drumstruck.

Chandi has been teaching our son Joshua from complete beginner level. He is now 10 years old and has played 3 outdoor concerts and a wedding. He enjoys playing different styles of music like rock/pop, latin and now heavy metal. He has won best young drummer at Bedford Boys School for the last 3 years. Therefore we can certainly recommend Chandi's teaching.

I started drumming in 1970. My first formal lessons were with Lonnie Donegan’s drummer the late Nick Nicholls. My last drum lesson in 1984 was with an ex-BBC percussionist. I stopped playing in 1990 but was recently encouraged by a friend to take it up again. At 60 I thought that the experience would be daunting. However Chandi has been able to develop further the advanced level of drumming of the various styles that I used in bands in the past. He is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, experienced or beginner, as an ideal tutor no matter what age.

I started playing drums at a drum school from the age of 7 in Holland, and have always taken it very seriously. I came to Chandi many years ago and have stuck with him due to his fantastic methods of teaching. Not only does Chandi teach you all of the essential drumming techniques and styles, but he teaches you how to master the instrument. He allows you to develop your own feel and style on the drums. His advice has been invaluable throughout my journey as a performing drummer in local bands and in church. The focus and discipline learnt in these lessons spurred me on to do better academically, improving my grades and recently graduating with first class honours. Lessons with Chandi on a friday evening are always a highlight of the week! He taught me up to grade 8, but the emphasis was more on learning the instrument rather than passing exams.
