I went to the tailor there cause it was close by. when I went to the wedding my pant leg for my suit fell down. I brought it back and she refused to acknowledge it was her fault. Even though you could see the stitching wasn’t even straight. She said I put my leg in wrong. Well I’ve never put my legs back in that building

My wife and I had guests in from Rhode Island and California over the weekend. We wanted everything to be just right as they were to be the very first guests staying in over new home (a newly constructed house) We decided to have the linens for both guest bedrooms professionally cleaned and so we sent it all to Dorothy's. The bedding stuff all looked so nice when we got it home that we decided to NOT make up one of the rooms until it was time for bed. Silly as it sounds, you might say that we wanted to show-off the lovely sheets! When a bunch of us jumped into that room to throw it all together, the person who was to sleep there said, \Wow! Nice sheets!\. It was important for us to make a really positive impression and the sheets played their eye-popping role. Since writing the above I have learned that I need to carefully check all garments at pick-up. A dress with some water-stains across the front chest (that were explicitly brought to their attention) was returned cleaned with water-stains across the front chest. Subsequently, after this we were (likely, unwittingly) charged again. Recently, I wore a dress shirt, cleaned by them, to a wedding. Before I put it on I saw it had a stain on one sleeve. Not a big deal as I never removed my jacket.
Solid company who has helped us out in a pinch.
I really want to love this place but it's a challenge. They had an incredible tailor that left. The high school kids who work there are often snotty. They have made more than one mistake but have always corrected it. I like that work is done on premises, and it's cheaper than the big-name competition.
Customer is not always right at Drycleaning by Dorothy. In a day when there are so many options at your finger tips, you would think that businesses would try and satisfy their customers. I have been a loyal customer at this business for 8 years but not any longer. I brought in a couple of items for dry-cleaning because I had a 20%off coupon in my email. You pay when you pick up as is customary so when I picked up my items, I tried to use my coupon. They informed me that the coupon must be surrendered at drop off...why? What difference does it make? I gave them my business...so who cares when I present the coupon? I emailed the company and was accused of being angry, instead of getting an apology. Why would they give up a loyal customer over 4.oo?? Think twice about going here...I know that I won't be back.
