Looking for a more finer dining experience we chose this restaurant this evening.. very popular....wish we booked much further ahead.. not able to get in until after 8pm on Saturday evening. But worth the wait. Very helpful and well weighted table service through out the evening. Meals well presented and very delicious. Happy to dine here again when next in Dubbo. See photos of mains mushroom and leek pie ad well as char grilled duck.

Nice ambience, good service! the food is good value based on the price, but probably still a bit away from a real fine dining. The pork belly is really good, but then the crispy crab is deep fried with too much batter outside. For the lamb shoulder, big portion enough for 4, tender, but needs more flavour...while the mashed potatoes is too salty.
Very high quality food. Lovely atmosphere, very helpful staff. There is only dining for adults so wouldn't be suitable if you were looking to take children, but that is a bonus for those looking for a quiet, romantic dinner or time away from kidlets.
Veldt Restaurant was a really good surprise in Dubbo. By the moment you get into the place you are sure that you gonna have an amazing experience. Friendly staff and delicious food. My partner and I had the 3 course meal and it worths every cent. Sublime!
Disappointing food and disappointing service. Some of the staff were quite rude. It took 3 attempts to get them to actually check allergens in the food rather than just assuming. I ordered a steak and it was not cooked even close to how I requested it, as well as being very fatty and overall disappointing for the price you pay. I won't be returning.
Food was exceptional, what more can we say but we will be back again to try more of the menu. The brisket just melted in my mouth was Devine. The duck was quacking delicious. Service was exceptional and even got a visit from the chef, well done team.
Just amazing. Leah, Sam and Fion were so personable and the food sublime. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Thank you everyone!
