A un of the mill\ GP surgery. Free parking on the road for around 20 cars and a big car park across the road. Surgery has a large waiting room. Dr's are very thorough and have a good bed side manner. The children's practice nurse is lovely. There is a Boots Pharmacy attached to the building.

My wife's doctors..she is 73 years old and as copd angina not in best of health..trying for over a month to get to see a doctor..on phone for about an hour 8am onwards when she eventually gets to speak to receptionist she is told there are not any doctors call backs available try again tomorrow..disgusting..other GP practices do not treat vulnerable patients this way
This practice has gone downhill since the days of Welch, Khan and Speirs. When you call the receptionists want to know what the problem is otherwise won't book an appointment because they say a doctor won't see or call you without a reason, this is like refusing to make an appointment this couId be a serious matter going undiagnosed for someone. I told them 2 lots of tablets now have caused side affects, then they want to know what side affects and what they were prescribed for. I don't want to discuss my medical issues with someone who is not medically trained issues are between a doctor and patient and confidential. I will be looking to change my doctor's practice.
1 star is too kind The staff are useless and they need to be trained on how to pick up a phone, I am so sick and tired i finally get through to them just to be told to call back at 8am. I feel sorry for the people but myself that are registered to this GP.
Can't get a appointment .have to ring up to be told no appointments can't book in advance . Have to go up to surgery to get paperwork for online acces. . doctor's when you see them or talk over the phone are brilliant though . Might look at changing practice .
