I was told there was No vegetable PHO.. the waitress who took our order O believe is also the owner, she was very cold and short when I asked if they could make a special vegetarian PHO. After all we're just talking about vegetables and noodles. She told me NO! My brother who decided to bring me to this place asked her to bring me a PHO with no meat add tofu and can you believe this lady agrees with him (shruggs)...lol long story short the tofu rolls were descent and the PHO with no meat was pretty good as well.. Im bigon quality customer service sooo I probably WONT go back there again.

The pho was definitely better than some places but not worth the drive.

The two of us came to visit this place out of convenience. The restaurant is located down the street from where we stayed during our recent trip. The staff was somewhat pushy for an order. It was our first time and we did not have a chance to familiarize with the menu. We ordered the hot tea and jasmine tea was served. The tea has a pandan flavor which may be pleasant to some but may be not to others. I had ordered the Phở Tái Nạm and was disappointed. The broth was more on the sweet side and did not have much of the beef broth content you would expect. The overwhelming use of mushroom powder and/or rock sugar made the broth tasted almost like a sweet soup. The Tái meat was a poor quality cut of beef chuck. It was over cooked by the broth and did not retain any beef flavor. The Nạm meat on the other hand was a little bit undercooked. It was so tough that it was not enjoyable to eat. They did give a generous portion of meat. There were three sizes, small, medium, and large. The prices were 10.50, 11.50, & 12.50 respectively. At these prices, I would expect the flavor to be decent but was a bit disappointed. My wife had ordered the Bún Bò Huế. The bowl was full of the blood cake cut in small chunks. It was quite a lot and can be intimidating for someone who don't want to consume blood cake. The vegetable plate was mixed with banana blossom and bean sprout for both of us. The banana blossom was specific for the Bún Bò Huế but there was no other vegetable besides it. My wife ended using the coriander leave, the Thai basil, and the bean sprout with the banana blossom. I've seen other places serving shredded purple or white cabbage as condiments to the Bún Bò Huế. Likewise, Bún Bò Huế would be well complimented with the shrimp paste which was missing. The broth flavor of the Bún Bò Huế was not the best we've had.

Dai Loi is always my go-to, especially when I have friends from out of state because I know this place has the best bun bo Hue in town and represents the authentic Vietnamese cuisines (especially Pho, bun bo Hue). Everything I’ve tried here (Pho, Bun Bo Hue, rice, desserts) is very flavorful and authentic. ️️

Tried Pho for first time and it was AMAZING! The broth it’s self is delicious! I had the steak but next time I think I’ll go with the shrimp pho! Either way this place is a hidden gem in Duluth. Must try! Oh and I could not for the life of me figure out how to use chop sticks! Lol. I had to ask for a fork \u200d️
