One of the symbol of Dumaguete, a place to see,to be seen, a place to be, for chill out, to get a walk,or get some air. Have kept some amazing trees (even if some never got replaced) New extension(s) have been built on the sea, blocking the original sea current, so water have lost it's transparency, waste and organic matter increasing dramatically. No more people swimming there.

It has a cool abience especially during night time. However construction is still going on. Notheless it doesnt affect the serenity it offers to general public.

This Place is beautiful! If you don’t like crowded visit this place on week days around 2 pm or 3pm. On the other hand, if you like crowded weekends or any day starting around 4 or 5 pm to night. Noted: this is just from my point of view. This place is nice and clean and relaxing too. Has many places to sit and very convenient to good restaurants. Needless to say, this place is perfect for everyone especially who love to take pictures. Also this place is perfect at night especially to be under of the moon that is brightly beautiful! And Day time Too! Definitely perfect place to meditate and read your favourite book.

I have visited other boulevards in the country, and Dumaguete's Rizal Boulevard is on my top list. In fact, any trip to Dumaguete City is not complete without a walk down Rizal Boulevard. Named after the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, it is considered to be one of the historical sites in Dumaguete City and it’s a great place to feel the city’s vibe and culture. And if you’re lucky enough, you could witness one of the most beautiful sunrises in your life – beautiful, majestic colors of red and orange across the sky, a picture perfect.

By far the main attraction of Dumaguete. An absolute must. So wonderful first come early for a marvellous sunrise. Each moment every day the sight is different. Sit on one of the stone bench and take the time to relax and enjoy. Under the shadow of the splendid trees. In the evening the most lively and beautiful part of the city. Go and have a meal or a bite or simply a drink in one of the numerous restaurants and terraces. Such as Le Chalet the Chicco under the same roof of the Why not (The night spot by excellence) or the Casablanca and many others. So don't delay to go there. I love to go at this exceptional location. And don't forget to watch the pearl of Dumaguete education scene the Siliman university
