I switched some time ago from super store pharmacy and I've been happy with my switch ever since. The pharmacist are usually always happy even when it's super busy although there has been one person who seems like they're not happy to be there every time I see them but it could be due to being over worked who knows. I could probably only think of one inconvenience I had there and it was when I tried buying tylenol 1s for my elderly grandmother because it's pretty painful for her to get out of the vehicle and I got declined because of the medication I pick up on the daily even though I mentioned it was for my grandmother and not myself, she ended hurting her leg that day when she had to go in for them herself because I wasnt allowed I also get rules but I dislike the looks I got afterwords as if I was buying something to abuse it was embarrassing.

I don't usually leave Google reviews but then again it's not very often I spend 1,500 at London Drugs. I've bought lots of camera equipment from this location and have always been reasonably happy with the service. That is until I decided to special order a camera Lens on 17/12/20. I was told that I would need to pay for the lens up front which I did. I was told that the lens would take 2-3 weeks to arrive as they have to order it directly from Sigma, which made perfect sense to me. 2 and a half weeks passed and no call. I called them only to find out that there was no record of the order ever being placed. I was told that someone would call me back (that never happened) so my wife stopped in on her way home from work to find out what was going on. Turns out the order was never placed. After an hour of trying to figure out what had happened my wife was told they can bring one in from another store on the island (so it didn't need to be special ordered from sigma) and that it should be here before the end of next week (15/01/2021). Yesterday we stopped in because I received a voicemail on 13/01/2021 telling me that the lens would be arriving in a couple of days. SURPISE SURPRISE the lens STILL hadn't arrived. IN FACT it turns out that the order was placed the same day I received the voicemail telling me it would be arriving in a couple of days which means that the person my wife dealt with didn't place the order either! I don't like being lied to and given the run around. Overall Really disappointed with the service.

I am currently in the process of having my prescriptions transferred to shoppers drug mart due to the pharmacy staff incompetence. Every single time I call them to get a prescription refill for any of my medications, there is a problem. My doctor was actually the one who said I should move pharmacies because even he is sick and tired of dealing with the staff at London drugs. They do not write down notes from my doctor when he calls, and they claimed that my doctor had put a hold on my medications when he indeed had not. Last week I asked to have a prescription filled and the “assistant” that answered the phone said it was no problem and that it would be ready for 5pm. When my partner and I arrived, the pharmacist knew nothing about it and it wasn’t filled. Also tried to withhold my medication when my doctor had just sent in a new prescription for me after my request. After my partner and I argued with the pharmacist, he ended up giving me my prescription for free. It’s ridiculous that I have to fight with them and phone my doctor at least once a week due them being disorganized and not communicating between each other. I am very happy to be leaving this horrible pharmacy for good.

Pharmacy staff are always helpful, friendly and compassionate. While dealing with a years long health problem they helped me immensely while suffering through the worst of it. Now that its all over I will always have a place in my heart for their whole team.
