Nice free beach option and trees are available for hammocks. On the weekends, parking fills up quickly and you do get a lot of people blaring music out of their cars because you sit next to or very near your car.

My first time here at Causeway Community Park in Dunedin, FL. I highly recommend visiting. You can park anywhere facing north or south towards the sun and along this very thin strip of beach and there is no charge to park as it is a community state park. Posted hours are from 5am-11pm. I saw people laying inside hammocks tied to the palm trees. You can hang out in your car or set up lawn chairs or layout on a towel and get tanned. Most people where walking, jogging and bicycling right before sunset. I love that people could bring their dogs with too but you can only walk with them on the shared bike path along the highway, otherwise known as the Causeway Boulevard. Both sides of the highway are available for parking and there was enough spaces to park on the sand. Longer vehicles than pickup trucks or vans might have trouble getting in or out. Definitely a place to revisit. There is only one bar/grill restaurant on this strip and it is located midway of the causeway.

This beach is always nice to go too. It’s free and you can sit there for hours. I love sunsets and this is a great place to see them.

Great little spot. Stop by in your SUV, back up toward the water and sit in the trunk looking at the Gulf ahead. Nice breeze on most days though summer is hot. Beach has lots of rocks on it at the waterline.

Great spot to fish, launch a Kayak or just chill on the water. Usually not crowded and lots of friendly folks.
