Amazing church as we enjoyed being present at a family wedding a few weeks ago before lock down

The Rev Dunstan was the first minister of this church, and made a significant impact in the establishment of Dunedin. The church itself is a beautiful building on the corner of George and Pitt Streets, and has a very nice stained glass window behind the pulpit. The interior doesn't quite match the grandeur of the exterior, but has all the original features. Although the service is traditional Presbyterian, the congregation is friendly and quite a mix of different ages and ethnicities. While I'm not a dyed-on-in-the-wool traditionalist, I appreciated the reverence given to communion and would certainly attend a service there again.

This Church has some amazing architecture and it was just unfortunate that we were too early for it be opened to the public. I would have love to look inside for my self but I tried to take in as much as I could from all around this almost medieval style building... loved it.

The building itself is iconic to Dunedin and has great architecture. I attended a service here once because I was invited by a friend. It was very different to what I am used to.

One of the many churches in Dunedin. This was the first one we came across as we were heading to the Rob Roy Dairy down the road. The Church is quite ornate and the spire quite tall. They also had white flags against family violence along the fence when we were there. We just looked around the outside to take photos and didn't go inside.

What a wonderful church with amazing acoustics. It has both upstairs and downstairs seating. Downstairs has wooden pews with foam squabs for a little bit of comfort. There are pull down wooden steps in front of the seats for kneeling on in prayer - should you wish to kneel. I found the temperature quite cold so if you are there on a cool day you will need to wrap up warm. There is a pipe organ and grand piano

Beautiful old church. Nice acoustics too for a small musical concert.
