I was so excited to see a new Japanese restaurant open up so near to my home, and let me tell you, my first visit did NOT disappoint! Indoor dining is available, but we ordered takeout through their convenient online ordering system. So many great sushi rolls at a low price! The ingredients are fresh and you can tell the staff takes special care to prepare and present each roll neatly, even in the takeout containers. Curious to try some of the other items, we also got the vegetable yakisoba and the chicken fried rice. The portions are huge! Most takeout chicken fried rice comes with small nondescript chicken scraps, but not here! Two seasoned and sauced chicken breasts that had that wonderful Hibachi grill flavor. They were so juicy, too. Sakura has such an obvious dedication to quality and we will absolutely be back for more. Can't wait!

This is my third time being here and everything has been awesome. From food to atmosphere to the service everything has been awesome. I highly recommend this place. And the menu is large at a reasonable price and makes me come back for more.
I've been to Sakura a few times. Clean, comfortable and great service. The smoked salmon sashimi was really good. The tempura was really good. The ribs were just how I like em. Be sure to get the crab cheese tempura appetizers. FYI, the gold star on the online menu means "raw".
I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review before... this was the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. No joke. There is truly nothing in the area that comes close to this and I’ve lived in Dunedin my whole life! High quality food, extremely friendly staff, reasonably priced... These people know what they are doing!!!
Service was also outstanding. Very attentive also she was high quality. Hibachi dinners wonderful presentation of all food exceptional. Can't wait to come back and explore their menu
We just ate here for the first time. The food was excellent and the service warm and friendly. London roll was amazing. I encourage you to give them a try....you won't be disappointed. Menu has alot to offer!!
So lucky to find this neighborhood gem. It was their grand opening and what a wonderful evening it was. The staff was attentive, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had sushi tonight and can't wait to go back to try the hibachi tomorrow!
Everything was delicious. But even better, was the friendly service. The owner went above and beyond to get us whatever we needed. Very nice family and good food!
