What a surreal and fantastic place this is. From the iconic lighthouses to the many shacks and abandoned boats lying on the shingle. I love coming here even the hard work walking on the shingle. But don't walk over too much of it, it is a fragile landscape. Keep to the designated paths.

Love Dungeness! Great walks on the shingle beach and fabulous photo opportunities, with old boats and machinery, as well as the interesting houses. Steam trains and a good fish cafe too!

A place with an atmosphere of its own. Individualistic, small houses. Vast amounts of open space. Not far, but still remote.

Dungeness is unique: no boundaries, a desolate landscape with wooden houses, power stations, lighthouses and expansive gravel pits.

A beautiful yet surreal place to visit... A super peaceful sunny afternoon out with hardly anyone around when we visited mid week in June... Great place for a picnic and a walk and to take in the unique scenery... Well worth a visit in June as it is always colourful with the beach plants in bloom...
