The most beautiful scene in Durban and its close to many tourist attractions
like
Wonderful beach. Relative clean with lots of nearby food options.
I love the jog from Moses Mabhida to Ushaka beach, it's always refreshing...
Honestly my favourite beach in Durban always kept clean, with easy access to toilets, restaurants and the Ushaka marine world
Nice long and wide walkways, but teaming with people on weekends as well as hawkers of all sorts. Durban beach often hazy and humid, so overall I would personally recommend finding a more remote beach for swimming, walking or general enjoyment.
Beautiful beach with beautiful views. Well kept and clean. Small waves for surfing and learning to surf for kids. Board hire. Very nice except for prices are way to inflated
Nice shallow beach, reasonably sheltered, tons of great facilities right there. Parking is a little pricey at R25 but its safe. This is our current favourite beach with little children, with lots of other activities to move onto once they're tired of playing in the waves.
One of the better beaches near Durban CBD. Lots of entertainment and restaurants on the beach, as well as Ushaka Marine World. Beaches are normally clean. Waves are usually easy-going while the depth of water is nice and shallow. Harbor point serves as decent protection often making conditions lake-like within the "bay", a good place to Stand-up paddleboard and learn to surf.
