Time. Eating in this restaurant takes time. I gave never seen so many tables in one go so empty. People waiting for their dishes forever. 5 course menu with seriously repeated ingredients parts but definitely the same sauces all the time. Let me correct: the same SOUR sauce.. trying to make impression of gourmet restaurant but for people with real taste of quality mediocre and with that of course overpriced. Dishes looked good but are not making sense and are not refined. Deserts in opposite where good. And coffee ok. Last positive thing where young servers trying to do their best. Waste of money and TIME...

We did the 3 course meal and it was lovely. Great end to our trip. I made the reservation same day and unfortunately we were seated by the restroom but there were no other options. We asked for a blind wine pairing and while selections were very good, they were the same wines everyone else got so a bit unimaginative. However, I would dine again, perhaps not on a busy Monday night.

Very nice hotel in the centre of durbuy. Kind reception. We had dinner in the restaurant. It was excellent. Every single person was friendly. I recommend!

We had a delicious 3-course dinner on the terras with matching wines. It was a superb experience, including the service in your own language (dutch in my case). It's not cheap but well worth the money if you like a proper dinner with all the whistles and bells.

One Durbuy hotel, Le Clos des Récollets is an old farm that has borrowed its name from the monks of Durbuy. It then turned into a hotel-restaurant ever since. The hotel is not near to the Ourthe but inside the cobbled stone town. It has a mesmerising cottage-style allure that would make one stop to take a second look.
