From start to finish, Smits Funeral Home in Dyer provided support and guidance that was straightforward and uncomplicated. The Dyer environment is first-class, as are the people. Tim was wonderful to work with. He listened to our ideas and turned them into a lovely memorial service reality. And compared to my experience with other funeral homes, I appreciated that he never once tried to run up the cost. Honest, caring, highly organized and competent...I can’t imagine going anywhere other than Smits when the need arises in the future.

First of all, thank you Jim for doing such a wonderful job you did in this trying time. This funeral home is beautiful inside. It's very comfortable and they take care of you. Jim would make suggestions on how to plan your wake and leave you in the office for you to take time to choose what's right for you. They don't push you, they don't soft soap you. They give you 30 days to pay. What impressed me the most was after the wake Jim contacted my mother to make sure she was alright, and if there was anything he could do for her. This funeral home actually cares for not only your deceased loved one, but also for you. I wish I could give them 10 stars but 5 will do. Thanks again Jim, Smits Funeral Home is top class.
