Really interesting, well laid out gallery, exhibits changed on a regular basis, very good café, friendly people. Also, lots of high quality gift items for sale including their own, popular famed silver & bronze jewellery. On top of this there is a wonderful day journey to get there, passing alongside beautiful lakes & rivers plus opportunity to rent cabins in the area. All in all, don't just read this review but go there to experience it yourselves, you won't regret it!

Fantastisk plass! Koselig galleri med mye fint og nydelig heimlaga Hillestad kringle. Perfekt for toppturer, Napen og Lindeknuten for å nevne to.
Synes du det er vanskelig å finne på noe nå i disse corona tider? Ta en tur til Hillestadloftet og opplev spennende smykker, flott maleriutstilling og masse flott håndtverk. Ta deg tid til en deilig suppe med elgkjøtt og Hillestad kringle og kaffe. Nå på høsten er det deilige farger og en fin turopplevelse.
