I have been going to Gordon's since 1988, (14 yrs old) I was given my first bait caster from there. The current owners dad taught me how to cast a bait caster back then. And after that I bought my own first bait caster there in which I still have that reel. It's still the same bait, tackle, guns and amo shop I remember( with obviously different people running it ) but they still seem to keep to the traditions of that place which is very rare anymore. So if you want fishing or hunting, or self defense fire fires; definitely check them out and I sure you'll really like Gordon's. One of the last traditional bait/tackle/hunting shops still around.

The guys here are just freaking phenomenal. Although I came in as a first-time gun owner, I already knew exactly what I wanted before I even set foot in the store and already knew good bit about firearms. That being said, when it came to applying for a background check I was somewhat apprehensive, but the guys walked me through the process and got me my first piece. I'll say this much, Gordons is unmatched in their customer service, quality, and overall employee competence (Hudsons is up there). I would recommend them to anyone in the Chester County area looking to purchase a firearm.

They're very realistic in their pricing but more important is that they are a local family owned GUN SHOP without the typical testosterone puffed out chest attitude.
