Absolutely the best NM State Park around. Where else can you camp and fish at your campsite. Park rangers were friendly and helpful. Be sure to spend some time near the Palisades, no shortage of picnic areas, day use spots and places to park to fish the stream...

Beautiful place to go out for a ride saw some nice elk on the road way and the fishing is pretty good to our pup loved it

This is a beautiful part of our country. It gets cold at night even in the summer so stay warm. I got some pics of elk crossing the road that were just amazing. Then came the snow and transformed the whole area. Lots of places to camp or hike so get off your butts and enjoy these views.

Absolutely beautiful. Very scenic drive, with lots of places for gorgeous pictures. Camping, hiking and fishing are the main reason to come here. I was just passing through, but enjoyed the drive both times. :) Saw a \herd\ of wild turkeys.
