Dear Director: My mother has only been there for three days now, due to a Stroke, and can’t move her right arm and leg very well. She hasn’t been given a bath, brushed her teeth, not eaten her food, because her tray sits at the opposite side of the room for her to look at, no rail guards on her bed, or has been repositioned in the last 14 hours by the nursing staff, so you can imagine her physical pain all over. The no compassion at this facility. We are buying time there praying that my Mother can survive on her own. They even took her buzzer away. Her advice was that she wishes that this never happens to me. She said her neighbor has been crying for two days straight and no one will come attend him. Does someone have an emotional intelligence or education there at all?Do we have to get the state involved to hire people with manners, attention and compassion? Elderly abuse to the Power of 10! Most of the comments talk about how beautiful and state-of-the-art this facility is, what isn’t mention is that just a few of these CNAs are capable to really do what it’s expected from them. I absolutely cannot recommended this place for any elderly to spend their last years there. Sorry..

Unfortunately, my Mothers Alzheimer’s had reached a point where Her care needs were not able to be met by family. Her needs required of professional assistance. La Hacienda de Paz has been my mother’s home for a year now with excellent care and attention. She had been a resident in a previous facility and although the care was good the attention and care she gets at La Hacienda de Paz is beyond comparison. Her doctor, Dr Seth, has mentioned to me how stable her illness is, as we all know science has not found a cure for her progressive disease. My family and I are very pleased with the love, care and professional medical attention La Hacienda de Paz has provided to our loving Mother and Grandma. Thank you for a job well done!!
