Since the reboot of this Farmers Market at the Eagle Rock City Hall it is a good local Farmers Market. I highly recommend the Berries Farmer who grows organic but just does not have his certification. The Berries, chard, and lettuces are superb and always fresh, ripe and full of flavor. Homeboy Industries Breads are spectacular. I LOVE the double cinnamon bread, it makes regular cinnamon bread taste bland. The locally grown honey gives me hope that our bees will survive. The only reason I gave it 4 our of 5 stars is it is going through a few growing pains but I am certain that within a month or so these kinks will all be worked out.

They have very limited selection and almost no organic produce. I wish they could get more organic vendors, I'd go more often, but the times I've gone I'm often disappointed. Also the new location isn't great, it's just steps away from busy Colorado Ave, with cars rushing past you, a sketchy situation to have little kids running around. I liked the old location in a parking lot on a side street much better.

Permanently shut down. We came by and called the number because there was no sign of the market anywhere and we were told that this was the first or second Friday that they have not had the market and it was shut down indefinitely. We had never been but the photos looked amazing and as we were completely let down by the Old LA Farmer's Market on Marmion on Tuesdays we were looking for somewhere to get some good quality produce and handmade goods. Very unfortunate.
