We bought a neglected ranch-style home on a great piece of property in late 2017 with the intent of renovating. After meeting with Jared and many other general contractors, we decided to build a new home behind the old home and elected to go with Jared and his team. 2.5 years later, we continue to say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. The transition from our scribbles on scrap paper to their drafting service to the final product is exactly what we envisioned and we would do it all over again..... and again! The Sherburne-Marrs team is outstanding and will stay on budget and schedule. They will treat you with great respect. This may be one of your largest financial decisions - Jared and his team will deliver.
The Sherburne-Marrs team work at a level beyond expectation. Their attention to quality and detail is commendable at every level. The design team worked very closely with us from the planning phase to final construction and move-in. They answered every question no matter how trivial. Thanks to Jared Sherburne and his remarkably talented, professional, dedicated and responsive team and subcontractors, we not only had our first positive home building experience — we have enjoyed the most beautiful and meticulously crafted home we’ve ever owned. Three years after buying our Sherburne-Marrs home, we would build it all over again—with Jared and his team, of course!—and not change a thing.
This was the first house we built. We looked at several builders when we we relocated to the Treasure Valley. After walking through a Sherburne-Marrs house, we knew we found our builder. The process went very smooth. The entire team (Jared, Desiree, Amy, Rick and Bill) were awesome. They made us feel like we were their only customer. The team responded to every minor issue and always followed through. We could not have been pleased with our decision. We strongly recommend Sherburne-Marrs to anyone!

Sherburne-Marrs makes the building process an easy and enjoyable one! They are amazing at listening to what you want and at helping make that dream a reality. All of their contractors are very professional and take pride in their work. Rick, the site manager, does an excellent job of making sure the work is completed correctly and takes pride in every aspect of the build. He does a lot of behind the scenes work, always checking in to reaffirm things are going smoothly. Amy, the designer, brings your ideas for the details of the house into reality and makes it a simple and seamless process. She does an amazing job of getting to know her clients and giving them her undivided attention. Desiree, the office manager, is great at communicating with clients. She responds quickly and is able to help or find the help you need continually through the building process and beyond. Even after our house was complete, she has responded quickly and promptly to our emails and questions. Jared, the owner and builder, is with you from the beginning to end and everything in between. We really appreciated his input throughout the process and felt he really was looking out for the better of the client. Choosing Sherburne-Marrs to build your home will definitely be one you will not regret. You will get an outstanding home you will love with the confidence of knowing it was built with the utmost craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail that can’t be rivaled anywhere else.
