I have tried to book a holiday with this company, which was mission impossible. Website does not work and they don’t answer the phone. I would be very careful dealing with this company they have not been very helpful.

Great if you enjoy hanging on a phone line for ages listening to a recorded voice with the personality of a nasal droplet telling you you are hanging on a phone line for ages, and at infuriatingly frequent intervals. Of course, this Guantanamo Bay type tactic has absolutely nothing to do with breaking your resistance and getting you to hang up before you actually get to speak to anybody before rigor mortis sets in. I stood it for 35 minutes and gave up. Lots of companies have done their utmost to serve their customers well during this crisis. In my direct experience this company isn't one of them. We certainly won't be using them again after this.
Absolutely Useless!! Two weeks before going on holiday, as an nhs key worker & holiday cancelled. Numerous phones calls to so called customer services & no joy. Three emails to them & no answer. Their treatment of customers is appalling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Disgusting Customer Services!!!!!!!! If I could put a zero review I would. Tried to contact cottages.com twice on the 10th and 11th Oct and was on hold both times over an hour. Also sent an email on the 10th Oct, which was within the 21 day cancellation period, explaining the critical condition my dad was in ICU, when I finally got through on the 13 Oct, again being on hold for 55 minutes was told I was only entitled to a 10% refund. Recently made a complaint through resolve at cottages.com could not find the email. Sent numerous emails to resolve and still not heard anything this has now been 2 and a half weeks. Unfortunately my dad has passed away on the day we were meant to go to the cottage. The customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced. No empathy for what I have been going through. Please check other companies before booking through cottages.com
Absolute shambles of a company, unfortunately I still have to give them 1 star. No way of contacting the company, they don't return emails, messages, etc. I booked with them, received confirmation that I had booked, then nothing else. I tried to pay my outstanding balance on their website, this told me to go to call, I called and tried to used their auto-phone system to pay, this told me that I hadn't got any outstanding balance. After days of spending hours on hold, sending emails, messages via Facebook (as this seems to be the only way that they do respond). Less than 24 hours before the start of my family holiday I've received a Facebook message to say my holiday has been cancelled as I haven't paid my full balance. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
