I'm not sure what it is that makes the receptionists here a bunch of power crazed, rude, impertinent, nosey cows but it is incredibly unpleasant having to spend the briefest period on the phone with these petulant vultures, they are the most condescending, patronising people you could possibly have the misfortune to speak with. They think that as the troll-like gatekeepers of the health service they are for some reason above everyone else, despite being mere receptionists and must think that this somehow justifies their snotty, childish, behaviour. Well, Earls Barton does not approve and they let down the hard working doctors that do such a good job.

Always helpful. Apart from that one doctor who hates me. Normally pretty good
Absolutely disgusted. Was sent away with no help for a severe breathing issue last week, had to have a Covid test to be taken seriously, only then did I see a lovely doctor, who was very helpful and gave me the breathing drugs x 3 that I really needed. Was first told by a very arrogant and aloof doctor after referral back to GP that I was a liar and that the hospital would have given me drugs if I needed them so I obviously didn't need any even though asthma is in my notes and a 91% sat rate at hospital says I was having breathing difficulties. Clearly he didn't read the info from the hospital.. Zero email after a week so have complained again because of this serious lack of urgent care. Hospital sent info to be seen by a GP for further help eg asthma, steroids etc but this basic requirement was denied. This surgery has sadly gone from being really proactive and kind, with brilliant staff to a very uncaring one. The receptionists are actually helpful and I don't blame them at all. Where's the care here please? Really sad.
Absolutely appalled at the level of care afforded to my wife. They played the COVID card for over five weeks! They would not make an appointment for her to see a doctor, nor would a doctor come out for a house call, despite her continual weight loss. I manage eventually to get her in to see the doctor and a mass was discovered in her abdomen. Another week passed and we insisted the doctor came out to see her. A nurse was sent who had the intelligence to have her admitted to hospital immediately as her condition was life threatening. My wife is now in hospital and receiving the best of care I might add. SHAME ON YOU EB Medical Centre. Just to add, my wife died in September.
Unfortunately non stars is not available in here. The reception staff is worth no stars. I keep coming to surgery and asking to book appoitment to the doctor and they keep booking me to the nurse. The reception staff do not care about the patients time and health. The nurse can't help me with the problem and the reception stuff do not want to listen. The doctors are good , when you some how get appointment with doctor they will definitely help you.
