OMGoodness! First time visitor, but I am in love with this place. Their selection of outdoor decor is definitely worth the attention and seems as if the price is lower than the quality. My mother-in-law is a loyal customer and they know her by name when she walks in. They also know her order by heart. The 2 gentlemen that I had interaction with were very kind. The younger gentlemen outside was especially courteous and went out of his way to assist us during our visit.

Great Family owned business. They have awesome grass seed and garden decorations that are in a league of their own. They have been in business over 100 years and are a must go to garden decoration destination.

My wife and I have been very long-time customers of Community Seed & Feed. My dad and I went there when I was just a child. . .when Floyd, that's Herb's dad owned the place. It's like an old fashioned general store. The sell plants, seed for gardens, bird food. . . Herb is a really honest, sincere person. He and his wife, Kathy, are hard workers. The put in long hours. Friendly, simple people who make you feel welcome. I could buy seed and plants at Lowe's since I moved to Godfrey from East Alton. I purposely drive to Community for an important reason. My business is appreciated. It's not run by some huge corporation. I can chat with the owner and ask advice or carry on a friendly conversation. I support good people whose lives depend on my business. I wish Herb and Kathy the best. They are good people who coincentily own a very necessary, very worthy business. Community (I still call it the coal yard) is an integral part of East Alton history. Thanks for all the good memories, Herb and Kathy.

Lots of options, very beautiful peices, VERY CHEAP PRICES. We found this place by randomly driving by, so glad we did. We got a statue from them for 150, that is selling for 895 online on etsy!!
