The worst place to do business no one seems to know what they’re doing there. When you ask them a question no one seems to know. They will call you and tell you complete opposite things all in the same day. I’m pretty sure they are pocketing money when I made my first payment they asked that I give them a portion in cash and the rest on my card that would be charged monthly when they gave me my receipt it was only for my card and my starting payment was listed for a lot lower than what they told me I also witnessed them buying food stamps from someone walking in so I wouldn’t put it past them to pocket my cash. The only way to get any help in this store is by calling the district manager nobody else is good for anything.

I would have to say that everyone that works at the Rent-A-Center East Chicago Indiana. Are the BEST people they are polite friendly and caring. My first experience was when I went to Rent A Center in hammond they lady was very rude and didn't explain things kind of maded me feel uncomfortable. So I walked out. Few weeks later I went to the East Chicago things was completely different. The gentleman that helped me was Alex. He is an awesome and caring person. They answered all of my questions. I would have to say they delivered my things very fast. They guys that delivered my things very nice and did a great job setting everything up. I feel as though Rent-A-Center East Chicago Indiana went out of their way to make sure that I had the my things delivered on time they were very respectful and honest and kept me informed which made me feel comfortable with the product that I bought so thank you to them and their team that they have working there

My first time renting a expensive bed from RENT A CENTER they told me Monday 8/17/2020 is my delivery date did not even wrote my name down. Claim they did but did not. Also one of their delivery drivers lied and said they came to my apartment two days ago. I'm starting to feel that I should not be renting from them. If they want positive reviews then they must do better with being honest with their customers including first time renters at that!!!!!

The manager (Ricky A) at this location is an absolute delight to do business with. He makes renting from here a smooth and pleasurable experience. He corrects and fixes issues as soon as it's brought to his attention.

These people are like its there first day working and when errors are mAde on there behalf it's not there fault and then late fee after late fees appear but we are sorry for lack of communication by far worst experience ever can't wait to be done with this place
