“24 month warranty” is a joke! I bought my niece an iPhone from here. The screen as scratched so paid them for a new one. When my niece started using it there was a fault so we planned to take it back. Unfortunately she dropped it and cracked the screen, I took it in to pay for the screen to be replaced then have the software issue fixed under warranty. I was told that because she broke the screen it voids the whole warranty. Absolute sham! I have worked in the mobile industry in the past and would of never treated customers like this. I was told they would call me in a couple of days with an update, after 5 days I went back in to find out what was going on, the adviser was very rude in explaining to me that why would he call me if he had no answer! I explained to him that if you tell a customer you will call in a couple of days you do just that even if you don’t have a resolution for them. Don’t know his name but he is the only ginger one there. We will no longer purchase from CEX.

Not your typical CEX, great staff. This is most likely due to the fact they are getting enough sun.
If you sell items, you don't get a good price, especially if you want the cash. A bit of a swindle. Despite the owner's response, I reiterate that the amount of money they claw back if you want the cash is really quite large. Definitely a swindle.
Such friendly helpful staff, thank you so much, paid more for my old mobile than any of the recycling sites and if I took vouchers would have been almost double anywhere else! Cheers guys
