I am final year student majoring in geology and chemistry. I want to be environmental geologist (Hydro-geologist/hydrologist/engineering geologist). I see myself helping the Buffalo city area as we are all concern that in the near future we will be running with shortage of water as well as helping this area in locating dumpsite so forth. This year (2018) I am focussing on geological structures that control groundwater circulation and localization. These geological structures can act as a barrier or conduit sometimes both. When they act as a barrier springs becomes dry during period of no rain whereas when act as conduit springs have water throughout the year. This study is designed to encourage the EC to consider the study of Groundwater/Geology. Generating target water exploration by means of Aerial photography and remote sensing. The study also work best for area selection, target generation, resource evaluation and reserve evaluation. The resource should be found easily, quickly and cheaply. During exploration I conduct geochemical and geophysical survey then follow by drilling. During the exploration other Earth commodities are highly possible to be found, which may help boost the Economy of the Province. Thanks in advance.
