Educare looks good and clean. They equipped with CCTV's in the classrooms and swimming lessons are offered as well as decent play areas for the kids etc. My issue is that the kitchen does not cater for Indian(Gujarati)people. We do not eat beef and pork... when we went for the interview the principle said that she could come to some kind of an arrangement with the kitchen. We were then happy and went ahead and filled out the paperwork and paid the deposit etc. A week later we were messaged and told to bring our own food for our son. So what happens to Muslims, or kids that have allergies, or kids that are lactose intolerant etc?? How difficult is it to make sure my child's Mac & Cheese does not have mince in it? My wife and I were offered R100 discount after I took it up with the principle a week later. Like R100 is going to cover my sons food for a month of schooling! If your child does not fall into any of these categories, then its a good school... but if they do, dont even bother. Like the principle said, "they only have one stove and cook for 120 kids, its difficult to cater for extra meals" Now, in this day and age I find this pathetic... esp for the price of admission.(R2350 a month) The cheaper priced Christian based schools offered to even buy chicken viennas and chicken mince to cook instead of beef/pork... Enough said.
