Clean, good for a braai, found myself wondering what's beyond the water on the other side, we spotted small game. Lekker place for an afternoon picnic with someone special or after church with the kids. Careful of the monkeys though there's lots of them and they are ultra cute

Really a beautiful spot where one can enjoy a lovely day out fishing and picnicking or having a braai on the waters edge. The only thing that needs major attention is the condition of the toilets. They are absolutely disgusting. Broken windows and obviously been used by vagrants. So disgustingly filthy that people need to rather find a Bush to go behind than use them. I am not sure who manages the area but maybe if each vehicle is charged a R10 entry fee these costs can pay the wages of having a cleaner to keep them tidy. If I had to give a rating based on the ablutions it would be a zero. Besides this we had a lovely time on a beautiful day.
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Remember to take the fishing gear. The river bank is muddy, but the kids love it.
Good place for a family braai or fishing outing with the kids. Needs new bins.
Not always clean rubbish strewn all over people do Not use the bins available for litter and the bottoms of all the drums are rusted away !!!
It's a great place if there is no wind
Refuse is a problem. Needs to be kept clean and tidy.
No toilets filthy broken tables broken braai
