Review of experience on 12/22/2020. Alright folks, it's 3 days until Christmas, and I already told everyone their packages would be late because I forgot to send them. I hit the post office just before 3:00 PM, got all set up with Karry (I hope I spelled his name right), and sent my parcels on their way. I received a text from my father at 8:00 AM today (12/23) to thank me for the gift he'd just received. Karry was polite, straightforward, and helpful; I will definitely be back again!

Worst Post Office ever! While visiting family I shipped boxes of media mail on 2 separate occasions within a few days of each other. 2 boxes were lost and not delivered. I got a letter in the mail of the address label of one of them, that had been cut out and fell off the parcel. Evidently EM PO opened my parcels to make sure they were media mail, but didn’t reattach the labels! Before this, I had shipped hundreds of media mail parcels all over the world, without incident. Now I have 2 packages missing, both from using this Post Office. Do not use this office, they have no respect for your parcels!!
Reading all the previous post and I’m pretty amazed at all the bad reviews. I have NEVER had a bad interaction or transaction with this location or usps in general for that matter. The people here have always been nice and informative to me. I have shipped hundreds of packages through this location from selling on eBay. Highly recommend.
My mail and packages keep getting lost and I also have my mail on hold because my neighbors kids steals my mail and they keep delivering it
the service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The people there do NOT do their job correctly. My first time shipping a package and I was ignored MULTIPLE times when asking questions, WASNT offered insurance (which I didn’t know even existed) on a product worth OVER 1000 and now that it is damaged through shipping I can’t do anything. They do not care about your packages so DO NOT USE THEM FOR SHIPPING ANYTHING. PS, my package was TIGHTLY PACKED with tons of filler for no movement. These guys must have literally dropped it off the Empire State Building.
I forgot to update my address while ordering a few things off amazon, I noticed before the item had even shipped so I call amazon, and They offer no help besides to say basically I could reorder the stuff and spend even more money, I called my former apartment building office and they also offered no help besides to say they called the current apt occupants and they hadn’t heard back from them.. very frustrated at this point, so I take a shot in the dark and do the unthinkable! I called my local post office- I spoke with Terri and not only was she extremely pleasant on the phone to me but she immediately called the mail carrier after she found which one had my package and had them bring my package to the post office for me to hold til I could pick it up personally- I arrived yesterday to grab it and the carrier hadn’t yet returned for the day, no big deal I’ll just come back the next day for it- that woman called me after postal hours to assure me the carrier had come back and my package was there safe and sound!! Above average customer service!!! A billion stars if possible, and they saved me a substantial amount of money!! I can never say thank you to Terri and the other hard working postal workers at the East Moline Post Office
So previous owners ordered an item and got shipped to my house. Wanting to be a good person I took it to the post office so they can ship to the forwarding address. The lady literally said "Not our problem." Wow really? Not professional. Lady didn't seem to like her job. If she's honestly that miserable she should leave.
I've been to this post office once so far. It was clean, boxes were stocked, the man at the counter was so nice. I don't understand the negative reviews. If someone shipped you a picture with glass in it in an envelope and it got broken, that is not the Post Office's fault. That is the lazy shipper who should have used a box and plenty of padding. If you give your shipper the wrong address, it is not the post office's responsibility to get your package back and redeliver. It's really nice when they do, but you told them to ship to that address!
