My first appointment the therapist showed up 15 minutes late. It was ok. Was told I couldn’t see doctor until after several therapy sessions. Was hugely upset. I had previously been on medication, and knew it was something I needed to be on. I let a lapse in visits go. Called to schedule appointment three times, basically begging for help. No return call. One week later told they could no longer see me and to go to hospital. Unbelievably irresponsible. Turning away someone asking for help.

I would advise anyone looking for a psychiatrist that cares about the wellness of his/her patients more than money to go elsewhere. He is very abrasive and sarcastic. He lacks compassion, empathy, and the ability or desire to actually help his patients. He’s a narcissistic glorified pill pusher that did not graduate from an American medical school. I am completely disgusted by this poor excuse for a medical professional! In the event of a personal emergency or tragedy and you call the office to inform him you cannot make it to your appointment (again in an emergency situation) he will withhold your medication unless you pay 75 immediately over the phone for an alleged “phone consultation” which is less than a 30 second call and still bills your insurance! Incidentally, the “phone consultation” is at his convenience not at that moment when he takes your payment or the time of your appointment...it’s when he gets around to it. Although as stated the 75 payment is expected immediately and you’re told the doctor will call you sometime today. Now when he has his staff call you to cancel/reschedule your appointment at the last minute whenever he feels like it you’re expected to change your plans/other appointments/work schedule to accommodate him. That happens quite frequently. He also never has another physician covering him during his month long vacations. There’s also frequent problems with his billing department. I can deal with a tremendous amount when it comes to myself but not when someone I care about is treated so poorly. I really recommend you find a much better psychiatrist - a real medical professional that cares.

I called for help with anxiety 2 weeks ago. Today this message was left on my cell \Hello this is EOPA you had a phone intake 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately we can not assist you. Have a good day. \ Not even the decency to ask me to return call and tell me directly. Poor customer service. Frustrating when you are looking for help and get turned away like that. Very cold.
