My older daughter has gone to this camp for four years and we sent my younger one last summer. Both kids love it! For my older daughter it is \her happy place.\ She will age out soon. We have been with BSA through two different directors and the experience has been great! Both my kids have made friends there that they keep in touch with throughout the rest of the year. The camp makes annual improvements. I love that they have the electives so they don't get burned out (or hurt) by doing too much soccer, especially for the younger ones. It is a great balance of great soccer and a traditional summer camp experience. My older daughter loves it so much that she wants to return to work there in the summers as a counselor when she is in college.

This camp is all we wanted and more. It's a traditional camp experience (think: boating, swimming, lake, nature hikes, campfires, cabin sleeping at its best) combined with a high-level soccer experience (think: pro-level coaches, skilled athletes phenomenal facilities -- both turf and grass fields surrounded by tall pine trees) run by organized, energetic and capable folks (think: youth with direction and purpose, safe environment with well-organized days, great website, easily accessible forms, good communication). Our daughter has attended for 5 years and is now aging out of the program. She's learned so many skills and has collected a set of friends from around the country! We worked our whole summer plans around BSA and are thankful we did -- for 5 years.

Just got back from this camp yesterday, it was amazing! The councilors, coaches, and all of the staff were nice. The food was delicious. And I got to play soccer twice a day. Plus I got to meet Yael Averbuch. She showed everyone at the camp a few moves and challenged us to go faster or keep our head up if we got it down. If we were struggling with a move she would make a few suggestions on how we could improve and it would help a lot. On top of that we got to do other things like yoga, performing arts, water front, arts and crafts, out door Adventure, fishing, Bubble Soccer, cooking, etc.
