I have received a shielding letter by email meant for a completely different person. It's a legitimate letter, and has the person's full name, address and NHS number. I haven't been registered with this GP surgery for over a year. This isn't a simple mix up with similar names. GDPR data breach.

Gave me beta blockers when I have very low blood pressure, I took one and soon after passed out, found out the lower your blood pressure so well done there. Wanted a second opinion referral and the out of hours doctor was unbelievably rude, patronising and unhelpful. Get your act together before you kill someone.

I asked the GP Dr Borisade for help weaning off my painkillers 3 weeks after my surgery and told him I was struggling with anxiety. He decided the best course of action was to cancel all of my medications, which meant I was going to have to go cold turkey off of really strong painkillers with no help. When I told him I didn't want to do that because it's incredibly dangerous to suddenly stop drugs like that, he said he was going to send me to a psychiatrist and renew (help for drug addicts). I immediately involved PALS and the CCG as I was going to run out the next day, eventually my medications were prescribed by a different Dr who agreed that I needed to wean instead of suddenly stop. I was also told that Dr Borisade had written that I should be sectioned but hadn't told me that and he also hadn't done anything about it, so he can't have been that worried, it was obviously a factor to cover his mistake with my apparent need to have a mental health intervention. The next day I realised Dr Borisade had not prescribed my anxiety medication as he said he would, so I called the practice back. I can't fault the reception team but the practice manager is awful. She was put on the phone and said \I THOUGHT WE SORTED THIS YESTERDAY YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO REGISTER AT ANOTHER SURGERY WHAT IS IT NOW?!\. It's baffling that they seem to think it is okay to leave patients without medication. Dr Borisade is completely sexist, he takes my partners concerns really seriously and brushes mine off as exaggeration. As someone who has struggled recently with their health, I have been made to feel like a complete hypochondriac and a nuisance after asking for help after having 2 surgeries within 4 days. I'm moving surgeries and would strongly reccommend people steer clear of this practice. The doctor is also the only one available 4 days a week, and talks over you during appointments constantly. I wish I could rate it as 0.

Ive been with this practice a few yrs now and although it is hard trying to get an appointment at times it's no different to my previous surgeries I've been with and I've always found the staff ( receptionists and Dr Borisade) very helpful and polite.

Shockingly poor receptionists who seem to be on a mission to be rude and unhelpful. Trying to get an appointment is about as likely to happen as winning the lottery. When it first opened it was a much better surgery but as they have taken on more patients then they can handle the service has declined rapidly.
