I have known Paul for over 16 years and I have lost count of the number of blinds that he has supplied and fitted for me. He is genuinely a nice guy and has an excellent eye for detail. All of his work is to an excellent standard and I have never been disappointed with any of the blinds that he has installed. I have complete confidence in recommending him and have done so many times to friends and family. I have only ever received complementary comments from the people that he has installed blinds and shutters for. If you want someone that you can trust to do a good job, look no further than Bourne Blinds.

So disappointed with the service and mis-selling from Bourne Blinds. Paul seems like a nice guy when you meet him, but think twice before giving your business to Bourne Blinds. We have recently spent a lot of money installing Bi-Fold doors and naturally wanted to have blinds fitted. We approached Bourne Blinds after being told by a few other companies that fitting blinds on these type of doors would mean that you could no longer open the doors fully - as the doors are meant to. Paul reassured us that fitting the blinds would be no problem, and that the doors would absolutely be able to open fully. His confidence encouraged us to place the order. When Paul installed the blinds, he didn't test whether the doors opened as they should. Frankly, he seemed like a trustworthy guy, so we didn't give it a second thought. As we are web designers, he was more interested in picking our brains for free advice on how he could improve his website etc. A day later, when we opened the doors we were horrified to discover that they didn't fully open. Also, when you try to open the doors, the blinds clash against themselves so will also inevitably break. Not good. We immediately contacted Paul but once I explained the issue to him he quickly made an excuse to get off the phone, and despite a promise to get back in touch, has seemingly fallen off the face of the earth. We have made several attempts to contact him over the last few weeks, but it is clear now he is ignoring us. Take my advice and spend your money elsewhere ... Paul is not trustworthy

***DO NOT USE*** If only there was a way to give Bourne Blinds a star rating in minus figures. If you are looking for a honest company with integrity, you are in the wrong place. Paul seems very nice to begin with, but then everyone does when they want your money. We had Paul come to measure up to fit blinds for our new house, including looking at options for blinds for our brand new bifold doors. We had been told by two other Blind companies we were not able to get blinds to fit these doors as it would prevent them from opening fully and the blinds would clash together. Paul strongly refuted this and said of course we can have the blinds on the doors, he clipped in the frames and showed us how they would work. Great! We ordered straight away. A few weeks later and delayed fitting, our doors have blinds - low and behold, the other companies were right. The doors we spend thousands on now don't open fully and the blinds hit against each other and will soon snap off. Paul has now dropped off the face of the earth. He refuses to answer the phone, respond to voicemails or return messages. He is beyond rude in failing to own up to his mistake and has taken our money and run. He was all ears however when we were giving his free advice about the security of his website! Stay well away.
