I wente there for a work experience organised by my school in italy. We were hosted for three weeks by a local family. On the first day we had to ask for a change of the accomodation due to the dirtiness of the house, and the staff managed to find us a new location just in a couple of hours. Very well organised structure and helpful, polite and nice staff/teachers.

THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME. It all started on a cold but bright Sunday afternoon. I had finally arrived in Eastbourne. It was a dream come true! I was 21 and I was from Uruguay, South America. I couldn't believe it. I stayed in Eastbourne for ten unforgettable weeks. I studied English there, made a lot of friends, learnt so many things which you cannot find in books. It was the most wonderful experience I've ever had. I used to live with my landlady (who was a sort of mother and an excellent cook) and a Japanese student. We soon became close friends. Life at school was fantastic! Every day was a challenge, something new and different from the day before. My classmates taught me a great variety of things, including their culture, a few words of their own language, and the most important thing, they offered me their friendship and we shared our points of view, ideas, beliefs. During my stay there, I could see how people care about each other, no matter where you come from, there are no borders at school; instead, we were a huge family. And we still are. We keep in touch with each other; though the distance may seem great, the bond of friendship is just as strong. Thanks Eastbourne for all those fabulous moments shared by friends. I returned to Eastbourne three times after that, and now I can't wait for my next visit !

Hosted students from ESofE, and from other schools when I lived in Surrey. Have to say the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have experienced and the students seem to really like the school.
