Well it works as a station, being on the outskirts of Eastbourne pretty much. Has a ticket office, step free access to the platforms from both sides and quite a small car park. Condolences for the people waiting at the level crossing due to comically high train count, even outside of the peak.

Very nice station, with a nice entrance but also two back entrances and one of which goes through a disused area which you can find lots of wildlife. Great links to places including Eastbourne, Ashford International, London Victoria and Brighton.

Bloody worst placed railway station! Every 2 minutes the roads closes due to a train passing. Needs a bridge installation for cars or tunnel for trains asap

Interesting small station which is kept well by a fine station manager who sweeps and maintains the pathways :) Be mindful of the platforms as you can get trains to Brighton from both sides as they go into Eastbourne and come out of Eastbourne.
