A cosy place serving crispy battered fish and chips. Although it's a chain/franchise restaurant, the quality of the food was very good. The staff were amazing and were attentive and adhered to the current Corona virus social distancing rules. That aside, I had haddock and chips, mushy peas with a fizzy tango. My friend had cod and chips and their food came out pretty quickly. (I guess cod is still very popular and they were already being cooked regardless). One of my friends is a \chip connoisseur\ and she said their chips were very good. My haddock came out a few minutes later, it worth the wait; batter was oh so crispy and the fish was succulent and moist. I like the chips but I'm spoilt because I am so used to triple cooked chips. A few more sachet of tartare sauce would have been nice but minor point. Everything was reasonable priced and service was great. I will visit again!

Nice place.. clean and tidy with friendly staff. Pretty reasonable prices for a seafront restaurant and the kids meals always go down well...would certainly return.
