Mechanics are fine; reception is OK-ish, it's just Da Management. Someone decided to route phone calls to Hendy through a call centre. You make arrangements for a car service but only a half-baked message gets through to the Dealership and you need to explain everything again. The reception staff in garages used to have knowledge of how cars worked and the needs for repair. Nowadays they, and their direct manager, know little or nothing about which they spout. Sadly, now you see someone one year and by the the next they have moved on. There is no connection to build trust. I imagine junior staff are so poorly paid it is hardly worth working there. When Hendy do work on your car, every opportunity is taken to price gouge. Tyres, for instance locally 149.99, Hendy price 240.80. Complain - you get a reduction - but you still pay way over the market rate. It's not the way to make customers believe the sloppy slogan "it's all about you" it isn't; it's all about the bottom line of the spreadsheet. I won't use Hendy again; shame I rather liked my Mazda.
