My other half can't recommend this place enough. She loves having her hair done here and has had cuts and colours and looks gorgeous when she leaves. Marie is lovely to her and always chats while they work.

My experience at Illicit hair was great! When I first got in, Nikki even offered me coffee and baked goods! She did such a great job with my hair and it looks so good and still feels quite healthy. Customer service was great, the place was clean, and felt very covid secure. Was worth every penny.
If you care about your hair go to Nikkie! I’ve had my hair lightened many times before in other salons in the area and was never happy with the result , moreover it always felt extremely damaged and dry after every colouring! Nikkie used olaplex and different treatments during the bleaching which left my hair feeling healthy while achieving amazing result at the same time making it lighter

After reading so many good reviews and having looked into their work through pictures on social media, I thought I'd give this Salon a go. I had found a picture of the copper balyage I wanted, it was a photo of their own work, so I felt happy that they'd know exactly what I was after. I went for my consultation and the ladies chose out the exact colours from the picture I had shown, so again, I felt quite relaxed that I was in good hands. I arrived on the day of my hair appointment thinking I was gonna be leaving the salon with lovely hair, I was wrong. After being in there for almost 5 hours I left with hair that I hated. Instead of the balyage I had asked which was so perfectly blended with the most beautiful copper tones running through the hair, I left with what felt like black grown out roots, an orange frizz in the middle and bright blonde ends. I now have no natural hair colour as my whole hair was completely bleached (I've had balyage before and never had my whole head bleached, only the sections which were being coloured) and the colours are so bright and boldly blocked, instead of having the natural looking blend. Very dissapointed after paying 140! Unfortunately I will not be returning to this hair dresser, I am going back to someone who I trust to fix my hair.
