Very friendly staff and delicious seafood! I was very tempted to get the skewers as they looked amazing, but was in a fish mood and was not disappointed. We got a starter of the garlic bread and it was like a giant English muffin of delicious garlic-ness. I got the seabass (whole fish) and it was prepared very well and enjoyed it immensely. My wife got the scabbard with banana and I tried a little bit and that might have been even tastier!

Dinner on Bank Holiday Sunday, very good. Restaurant was very busy, and the food maybe a little slow but to be expected with a full house. Great atmosphere very nice waiting staff. I took the recommendation of the sea bass and it was huge and delicious! (Note the head is on, so warn the waiter if you don't like that) Lots of meat on the skewers, but I think the fish is best. Also the garlic bread is a must try, they make their own bread every day and only this garlic bread is unique to Madeira Will certainly be returning.

It could be any restaurant as I am not local. But we went inside and the food we found is fabulous. Madeira is a family run homely place, that is popular with couples like us; it's even a bit romantic. Not a chain, it has personal service and chefs cooking your food on the spot. We went here in July, then again in October - we really love eating her and the food is not over-rpriced at all. Lovely.

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, particularly with my son, who is autistic. The Madeira skewer was very tasty, with good quality meat, accompanied with sauteed potatoes, fried corn and boiled vegetables.. The grilled squid was not grilled, but stewed, although very tasty. Beautiful sangria! Reasonable prices. Good ambiance.
